Smith Family

I get a bit nervous with big families...especially when I hear there is 19 grandchildren!! In my crazy head I just see 19 kids running crazy and not listening or smiling or cooperating! But like I said...that is in my crazy head! This shoot couldn't have been more opposite than what's in my head! All the kids were well behaved, did exactly what I asked...and if the truth be known, I didn't have to tell them hardly anything! They were all natural posers, and I love that!! I think it was the hottest day of the year on this day...but then the wind picked up and we could hardly tell it was the hottest! But then we inherited the wind blown look. But it turned out great....Thanks for choosing me Smith Family!! You have a beautiful family!!

This is always my favorite shot of the day! I was "checking my light". I love the little boys face in the front row and the little gal posing right next to him!! So fun!
